Origins of I. DNA and the Human Mixmaster

Vanessa learned hers:
DNA work. * Rest of us?
From ephemera,

Research, trees, travel,
Guess, spellings. Human quest for
The origin of I.

*   Photo op at special event here, at a screening of Vanessa Williams' film, My Brother.  Dan points out that they are not related, but Vanessa? Lovely lady, caring. See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/17/vanessa-williams-ancestry-mail-order-dna-test_n_2698112.html

Dan's mixmaster: mebbe-mebbe-not Norse, Viking?! Irish, Norman, Scots track clans! English, Swedish, mists of Canada, or did the name venture to Saxon Germany we must be of Widukind's clan, and -- look! More Canada! But what practical good? Don't we wish. O Canada. Land of  a) the single payer that we crave,  b) the sensible stability of wisely monitored markets for such cash as may remain for care, c) safety net for residences, dignity. What is Dan's future without those? We grapple on, one family of millions, while Congress goes on break. Down is up, but they don't care.
